The SiGMA Summits, organized by Sigma Play, are considered as some of the most significant and largest international B2B and B2C iGaming and casino-focused conferences in the world.

The Asia leg has a jam-packed four-day agenda with Day 1 activities kicking off with a golf match, a tour to the historic side of Manila, a poker tournament in Okada Manila (for some ticket holders only) preceding the launch of the exhibition proper.

The succeeding days will see the various topic talks on regulation, discussions on payments and e-Commerce in gaming, challenges in marketing, crypto, web3, emerging tech and eSports.

The week-long networking event will culminate in a closing party succeeding after an MMA event by Centurion FC. The event will be attended by a roster of industry leaders from the private sector, and government officials, including PAGCOR officials Alejandro Tengco and Philippine Security and Exchange Commission Commissioner Kelvin Lester K. Lee.

Event organizers lauded the host country’s principal gaming regulatory body, PAGCOR, in ‘cultivating strong foundations’ for the Philippines to become a gaming investment destination.

“Fast emerging as Asia’s leading hub for gaming, the Philippines’ gambling industry, both land-based and online, has seen rapid expansion over the last few years,” the SiGMA Asia official website explained.

“While the recent pandemic hit hard, a resilient PAGCOR has been successful in offsetting the loss of revenue due to Covid-mandated shutdowns by moving to regulate domestic online gambling, making them the first country in Asia to do so,” the SiGMA Asia official website highlighted.

“In the first 6 months of 2022, PAGCOR’s net income rose significantly to approximately P2.16 billion, compared to the P79.01 million profit recorded in the year prior.”

SiGMA Play is also set to hold its Europe and Eurasia Summits this November in Malta, and in March next year in Dubai respectively. For more information about registration, visit the official event website at https://sigma.world/asia/
