GAN appoints new permanent CFO
Brian Chang, who was previously employed by GAN as a temporary chief financial officer (CFO), has been named the organization’s new permanent CFO. Chang’s appointment coincides with the company’s intention to merge with Sega Sammy Creation. Later this year is when the merger is expected to be finalized.
Chang was praised by David Goldberg, Chairman of the Board of GAN, who also highlighted Chang’s shown financial abilities throughout his interim CFO tenure. Chang’s leadership on the finance team, along with his knowledge of accounting and financial controls, were highlighted by Goldberg, who expressed confidence in Chang’s ability to manage the company through the merger.
In November 2022, Chang—who had previously served as GAN’s Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller—took on the role of interim CFO. He has held positions as Audit Manager at Deloitte and Vice President of Accounting and Reporting at Alorica.
The CEO of GAN, Seamus McGill, also complimented Chang on his permanent job and acknowledged his abilities. Chang will oversee the integration, divestiture, and restructuring activities of the business.
Chang emphasized his commitment to leading the finance team to a successful merger with Sega Sammy and thanked McGill and the Board for their confidence in him.
