NBA trade rumors: News updates, possible trades, players and teams involved at 2022 trade deadline

With just over a week remaining until the trade deadline, rumors of players who could be on the move are starting to pick up. While it doesn’t appear that trades will materialize for previously rumored stars like Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, that doesn’t mean we won’t see some impactful deals that shake up the league.

Will the 76ers find a trade suitor for star guard Ben Simmons or wait until the offseason? Will the Kings shake up their future and trade young star De’Aaron Fox? What about the Pacers’ talented frontcourt of Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner?

Bleacher Report’s Jake Fischer had a number of rumors in his latest trade intel piece, with the headliner being the Wizards’ pursuit for Jerami Grant or Domantas Sabonis. “League personnel say the Pacers are seeking a package similar to or greater than the haul Nikola Vucevic drew for the Orlando Magic last season,” Fischer stated on the topic.

He also mentioned a few other noteworthy names. The Jazz have reportedly been linked to Harrison Barnes, the Raptors are trying to see what Goran Dragic and a first-round pick could return, Robert Covington is the “most likely Trail Blazer deal before Feb. 10”, the Celtics are trying to shop Dennis Schroder and Josh Richardson, the Suns have been linked to Eric Gordon and the Pelicans are interested in a potential package for CJ McCollum and Covington.
