SkyCity promotes new non-executive director

SkyCity Entertainment Group, an Australian and New Zealand-based gaming company, has announced the appointment of a new non-executive director to its board of directors. In a statement issued on Thursday, the group said that Donna Cooper had been approved as a non-executive director of the SkyCity board, effective that day.

Cooper formerly worked for Coralus, TBS, and the Banking Ombudsman Scheme in New Zealand before joining the business as an advisor in July.

SkyCity is making the shift while dealing with regulatory issues, which it wants to overcome via a corporate rethink and employee training.
