Paradise Co casino revenue falls again in February

South Korea’s leading foreigner-only casino operator, Paradise Co, saw its casino revenue fall 5.7% year-on-year to KRW17.07 billion (US$14.2 million) in February as border closures continue to keep visitation subdued.

The figure also represents a 5.9% decline from revenue of KRW18.14 billion (US$15.1 million) in January.

According to details filed with the Korea Exchange on Wednesday, February’s casino revenue included KRW15.38 billion (US$12.8 million) from table games, down 4.1% year-on-year, and KRW1.70 billion (US$1.4 million) from machines, down 17.7%.
