July 28, 2023 World Blockchain

iGaming developer and distributor SOFTSWISS announced that it has protected clients with proprietary AI tech; almost USD 20M were saved through the anti-fraud service in 2022; suspicious cases amounted to more than 60,000

iGaming software provider SOFTSWISS has revealed its artificial intelligence (AI) technology saved clients more than €16 million (US$17.7 million) in 2022 by identifying suspicious cases among 61,810 requests made to SOFTSWISS’ Managed Services.

Noting that analyzing such data volumes by hand is nigh on impossible, SOFTSWISS said it developed its Anti-Fraud Service as a real-time data analysis tool leveraging machine learning models to detect suspicious cases and bring them to the attention of the Anti-Fraud team experts.

Recent updates have also introduced an enhanced ability to assess the quality of affiliate traffic to ensure a secure and trustworthy iGaming environment.

Another tool created by the SOFTSWISS R&D department is Business Metrics Monitoring and Management (BM3), a machine learning-driven system that analyses key business indicators and identifies deviations on a near-real-time basis.

BM3 helps identify potential issues more efficiently than traditional rule-based solutions, enabling prompt detection and troubleshooting to prevent negative impacts on client business and avoid financial losses.

“AI is an effective tool for analysing large data sets in real-time, but the final decision should still be left to an expert,” said Vitali Matsukevich, COO at SOFTSWISS.

“With all speed and efficiency, you can’t put all the responsibility for business decisions on artificial intelligence.”

Another area where AI has demonstrated its efficiency is player management. SOFTSWISS’ R&D department developed a service called DOSSIER, which analyses player behaviour to enhance gaming experience. DOSSIER predicts future actions, enabling operators to make timely and tailored offers.

For example, the system identifies players with high potential lifetime value (LTV) and allows operators to offer them special bonuses or assign individual managers. Such segmentation can be used across various scenarios.
