System Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work with product/users to define system requirements
- Prepare detailed specifications for system development or software packages
- Performs systems design work to develop applications meeting the business requirements of users
- Prepares complex system specifications to meet user requirements
- Work with the project manager to document the project vision and the project scope
- Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops and business analysis
- Write requirements specifications using natural language simply, clearly, unambiguously, and concisely
- Decompose high-level business and user requirements into functional requirements, specified in an appropriate level of detail suitable for use by those must base their work on the requirements
- Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and satisfaction
- Lead requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, consistent, concise, comprehensible, traceable, feasible, unambiguous, and verifiable
- Manage requirements traceability information and track requirements status throughout the project
- Manage changes to baselined requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools
- Identify ways to assist project management in project planning through requirements development and analysis
- System Analyst I – At least 1 year experience in a system analyst role
- System Analyst II – At least 3 years experience in a system analyst role
- System Analyst III – At least 5 years experience in a system analyst role
- Must have extensive experience using Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project) for professional documentation
- Must have experience using UML to document system design
- Must be conversant with systems development lifecycle principles
- Must be able to relate to large information-based organizations and comfortable dealing with senior executives from a variety of cultures
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Must have experience of front end and backend programming language such as HTML5, CSS, Javascript, Wordpress, Laravel, .net, C#, Java, IOS and android tools
- Extensive knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC), Agile and utilization in system development projects
- Proven ability to conduct independent research by analyzing relationships among several parts of a problem or situation
