Artyzen Hotel brand opens new Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai

April 1, 2024 Macau Casino & Hotel

Launched on March 28th, the Habitat Hengqin Zhuhai is a new hotel under the Artyzen Hotel brand, owned by Pansy Ho’s Shun Tak Group.

The company has started a marketing campaign with RMB50 ($6.9) lunch discounts and RMB9.9 ($1.4) coffee vouchers in celebration of its Zhuhai debut.

The Artyzen Habitat hotel is situated in the center of the Greater Bay Area and is meant to let guests take advantage of both Macau’s urban vibrancy and Zhuhai’s picturesque coastline, according to the WeChat booking service.

With 230 rooms, the Artyzen Habitat is well situated at the Hengqin border, close to the Cotai strip, which is the center of Macau’s gaming district. Ten distinct lodging options are available at the hotel, with weekly rates ranging from RMB600 ($83) to RMB800 ($111).

Officials from Guangdong and Macau are now debating whether to provide a multi-entry visa for visitors to Macau. Chinese visitors with a seven-day visa are now limited to one entry, which means that their stays are shorter due to lodging costs. A multi-entry visa scheme has been recommended by industry experts to encourage longer stays in Macau and thus support Hengqin’s development.

Zhuhai is home to a number of well-known international luxury hotel brands, including the Hyatt Regency Hotel and Hilton Garden Inn. Some of these brands have been operating in the city for a long time, such as the Serensia Woods Hotel and the Chimelong-branded hotels.
