IESF announces competition details for 2022 World Esports Academia
The International Esports Federation (IESF) has announced prize details for this year’s World Esports Academia Competition.
After its inaugural edition last year, the IESF will run the competition, aimed to promote and activate academic research within esports, for a second time this summer.
The first place winner will receive a grand prize of 4,000,000 KRW (£2560/$3200/€2980) and a certificate from IESF President Vlad Marinescu.
They will also be given the opportunity to present their paper at the World Esports Academia Seminar, which will be taking place later this year in Busan CIty.
Second and third place will also receive a certificate, as well as 2,000,000 (£1280/$1600/€1490) and 1,000,000 KRW (£640/$800/€745) respectively.
