China Unveils New Multi-Entry Visa, Boosting Macau-Hengqin Tourism
The National Immigration Administration of China has revealed a revolutionary initiative aimed at enhancing tourism connections between Macau and neighboring Hengqin.
Chinese nationals traveling in packages will find it simpler to cross multiple borders in a seven-day period thanks to a new multi-entry visa that goes into force on May 6.
Ho Iat Seng, the chief executive of Macau, commended the initiative and underlined the city’s readiness to receive a surge of tourists from the Chinese mainland.
As a component of a larger initiative to increase international trade in the Greater Bay Area, the policy shows China’s dedication to accommodating industry demands and creating an environment that is conducive to business.
Along with the visa update, several other measures have been put into place, including as the expedited business visa procedures for Hong Kong and Macao, the tailored visa categories for skilled workers, and the online processing of travel documents.
As Macau works to attract tourists from around the world, it doesn’t lose sight of its mainland Chinese clientele, emphasizing the city’s non-gaming attractions.
