Marketing Channels Development Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Researches and analyses market trends, demographics, pricing schedules, competitor products and other relevant information to form marketing strategies for both the company and its client companies.
- Overall in-charge of identifying the company and its clients’ ideal channel programs through extensive research and studies.
- Identifies, develops, expands and create online and offline marketing channels for each client both locally and internationally.
- Evaluate each and every channels’ effectiveness by validating each marketing qualified leads
- Continuously grow, improve, and find new channel partners for each client.
- Create and maintain relationship with channel partners.
- Devise advertising strategies and negotiate contracts with potential advertising partners
- Identify the most cost-effective channels (or affiliate / partnership programs) for each client to continuously lower or maintain advertising cost and making sure it’s within the budget allotted.
- Develop new and advance digital marketing channels to adapt to the current trend and situation.
- Responsible for start-up company requirements for the whole of marketing channel development department
- Interview, hire, train and evaluate channel marketing team
- Create the job description and KPIs for each team member
- Develop standard operating procedures for each service offered as well as channel development procedures for each client
- Identify manpower requirement as the business expands and interview, hire and train new marketing employees
- Effectively communicate with the content team for the team to be able to prepare necessary content strategies and creative output for each identified channel of each client.
- Create a database and continue to expand networks and contacts that would make the need to reach them accessible.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business administration
- Has eight to ten years’ experience as a marketing manager or digital marketing manager
- Knowledge in use of specific tools to assist with market study
- Proficient communication skills in English language
- Knowledge of specific software program including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
- Wide range of marketing and advertising knowledge from digital marketing, social media marketing, search engine marketing, public relations, above and below the line advertising
- Creative and can think out of the box
- Eager to learn, adjust and willing to be in a start-up company.
- Professionalism is always expected (avoid absences and tardiness)
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Willing to work on weekends
