Galaxy Ent to give one-month worth bonus to employees on January 31

According to Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd., eligible employees will get a “2023 discretionary bonus” that is equivalent to one month’s base pay plus guaranteed tips, if any. The reward will be awarded on January 31, just in time for the Chinese New Year, which falls on February 10.

Approximately 98% of the company’s employees are eligible for this incentive, particularly those who have a grade of “senior manager” or below. Galaxy Entertainment expressed gratitude to its employees for their hard work over the past year and highlighted some of their accomplishments, including the building and opening of Phase 3 projects at Galaxy Macau, the company’s premier Cotai complex.

The executive director and deputy chairman of Galaxy Entertainment, Francis Lui Yiu Tung, praised the team members’ dedication and teamwork while emphasizing the company’s dedication to the “World Class, Asian Heart” service philosophy.

Similar remarks were made by other Macau casino owners earlier this week. For qualified workers, MGM China Holdings Ltd. announced a one-month salary bonus that would be given around Chinese New Year. Sands China Ltd. has declared that qualified team members would start receiving pay increases on March 1 in addition to a discretionary bonus of one month’s salary, which will be given out on January 31.
