Senior Accounting Analyst
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Sr. Accounting Analyst is expected to be knowledgeable most importantly for intercompany / international consolidation of Financial Statements. He / She must know how to analyze and journalize to avoid translation and foreign exchange losses in and between currencies. Also, the expectation is to supervise, guide and train the Accounting Analysts within the same group.
- Detailed Expense Recording
- Intercompany Activity Reconciliation
- Month End Closing
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- International/Intercompany Consolidation of Financial Statements
- Perform Ad hoc Analysis / Assist in Analytical Review of Expenses
- Monitor and Supervise Accounting Analysts within the same Business Group
- Performance and Utilization Evaluation of the subordinates
- Other functions as occasionally assigned by Department Head
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA is not required but will be an advantage
- At least 3 years of General Accounting experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a Multinational / Conglomerate exposed in subsidiary company’s consolidation of Financial Statements
- Knowledge on Foreign Currency denominated transactions, Third currency transactions and recognition of Forex Gain/Loss
- Recent ERP system experience required (SAP, Lawson, or others) – NetSuite is a huge plus
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate.
- Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot, V-lookup, etc.)
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills within a multicultural business environment
- Amenable to extended working hours if needed
- Can work with minimal supervision
