Global Gaming Expo to run with debuting Asian IR Expo in Macau

G2E Asia returns to Macau from July 11th to 13th, with the debut of the Asian IR Expo and Summit. Both events will be held at the Venetian Macau.

G2E’s roster of speakers will include MGM Resorts International’s President of Global Development Ed Bowers.

Bowers is joined by Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort COO Chen Si, as well as risk specialist Steve Vickers and 2NT8 Limited’s Managing Director Alidad Tash.

The G2E segment of the dual-expo also welcomes Credit Suisse Managing Director Kenneth Fong and Sandra Bograd, of Columbia University.

The Macau edition of G2E is set to focus on regulatory oversight, future trends, a transition from VIP to mass and non-gaming, and best practices, among other topics.

G2E is expected to draw some 5,000 trade visitors.

The first Asian IR Expo is expected to draw some 5,000 buyers and trade visitors. Asian IR Expo will have more than 100 exhibitors.

The debuting expo presents a unique opportunity for collaborative learning, focusing on the travel economic outlook and travel development trends ‘to accommodate post-COVID needs.’

It’s will also focus on the Macau SAR government’s non-gaming diversification plan, encompassing elements such as ‘art and entertainment tourism, wellness and health tourism and sports and esports tourism’.

The event will feature MGTO Director Helena de Senna Fernandes, Pacific Asia Travel Association Chairman Professor Ben Goh, and Japan MICE Association President Naomi Mano.
