Marina Bay Sands to Launch VIP Gaming & Paiza Sky Palace by September
Marina Bay Sands in Singapore plans to launch VIP gaming on levels 53 and 54 of Tower 2 by September, according to a spokesperson who spoke with GGRAsia. Managed by a unit of Las Vegas Sands Corp., which also owns Sands China Ltd. in Macau, the resort will introduce an ultra-luxury gaming space named Paiza Sky Palace.
The new VIP area will feature private gaming salons and operate within the resort’s approved gaming zone. Upper-floor premium gaming is a familiar concept in Macau, seen in places like Galaxy Macau’s Raffles Tower.
Las Vegas Sands’ Patrick Dumont mentioned in April that Towers 1 and 2 of Marina Bay Sands have been renovated as part of a US$1 billion upgrade, with benefits still emerging. The group now aims to complete the refurbishment of Tower 3 by the second quarter of 2025, with a projected public launch by Chinese New Year 2025.
An additional US$750 million is being invested to update Tower 3, the hotel lobby, and Sands SkyPark. This expansion is separate from Las Vegas Sands’ SGD4.5 billion (US$3.3 billion) commitment for a fourth hotel tower, with construction starting in July 2025 and completion expected by July 2029.
Marina Bay Sands is one of two major casino resorts in Singapore, alongside Resorts World Sentosa, operated by Genting Singapore Ltd.
