Uncovering Business Records Linked to Mayor Guo at Pampanga Resort
Various business records and papers associated with Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo were uncovered at a resort in Pampanga.
As reported by Saleem Refran on “24 Oras” on Tuesday, authorities accessed 19 money vaults located within villas at Fontana Leisure Parks in Clark Freeport.
According to the report, these villas were rented by key figures from the raided Zun Yuan Technology POGO facility in Bamban and by business associates of the suspended mayor.
Among the items found in the vaults were banking documents belonging to Baofu Land Development, the company reportedly linked to Guo and the owner of the property hosting the raided POGO center in Bamban.
“We discovered bank books that could be pertinent to potential money laundering charges. The bank was not only used for transactions locally but also internationally,” explained Gilbert Cruz, Executive Director of the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC).
