SJM Holdings Expands Culinary Portfolio with Macau Acquisitions
Renowned Macau casino operator SJM Holdings Limited has made smart purchases to enhance its food and beverage offerings and attract broad-market tourists.
The Kam Pek Community Centre is a three-story structure close to the city’s historic core that was acquired by the corporation.
In order to attract more visitors and enhance its current non-gaming offerings, SJM hopes to turn the location into a significant food and beverage destination.
SJM also purchased the commercial interests in “EL&N,” a London-based cafe, and “Mamma Pizza,” an Italian restaurant, which are two Western-style eateries that are being developed at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau.
The goal of this project is to broaden the range of holidaymakers who visit the resort by offering a more varied selection of food options.
The chairman of SJM Holdings, Daisy Ho, emphasized the significance of these purchases in enhancing Macau’s standing as a global center for leisure and tourism as well as the company’s leadership in the culinary arts.
The business expects the investments to draw in new business, encourage return visits, and foster portfolio synergies, all of which will contribute to the city’s tourism boom.
