Over the first three days of the Easter vacation weekend, the Public Security Police Force reported that some 330,000 tourists came to Macau. With 122,235 visits, Saturday witnessed the biggest increase.

With an average of 100,000 visits per day during the Easter break, the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) had anticipated a rise in Hong Kong visitors. Specific information released on Monday showed that there were 105,169 arrivals on the first day, 122,235 on Sunday, and more than 103,000 on Sunday.

Over 110,000 people visited Macau on average each day from Friday to Sunday, indicating a consistent flow of tourists.

Arrivals at Macau have been rising this year; in February, 3,293,564 arrivals reached an average daily rate of 113,571, up 15% from the previous month. A new post-pandemic single-day record of 217,451 visits was set in February during the Chinese New Year vacation.
