Solaire still leading Philippine gaming revenue list: PAGCOR data

With gross gaming revenues (GGR) of Php61 billion (US$1.1 billion) in 2023, Bloomberry Resorts Corp.’s Solaire Resort & Casino is still the industry leader in the Philippines, according to data from the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).

According to data released by the Inquirer this week, Hann Casino Resort is the largest casino in Clark, with a gross gaming revenue (GGR) of Php11.9 billion (US$215 million), or Php1 billion (US$18 million) on average per month.

After Solaire, Okada Manila ranks second in terms of overall gross gross revenue (GGR) for 2023, coming in behind City of Dreams Manila with Php31.7 billion and Newport World Resorts with Php34.3 billion (US$619 million).

With a GGR of Php7.9 billion (US$142 million), D’Heights is second in Clark after Hann, while Royce Hotel and Casino comes in third with Php4.9 billion (US$88 million).

According to reports, Nustar in Cebu produced GGR of Php5.5 billion (US$99 million), demonstrating exceptional profitability in spite of ongoing development around the property.

The industry’s total revenue in 2023 was Php285.3 billion (US$5.15 billion), of which more over 70% came from private licensees, notably those in Entertainment City and Clark in Manila.
