Announcement for Mohegan INSPIRE’s casino delayed
Mohegan’s new flagship facility, INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, South Korea, will take longer than anticipated to launch its casino.
President of INSPIRE Entertainment Resort Chen Si said that a new announcement would probably be made on Wednesday, thus the announcement date, which was initially scheduled for Monday, has been pushed back.
The company that developed Incheon’s multibillion-dollar integrated resort (IR), Mohegan, recently declared that it has acquired its casino license. This achievement follows the IR hotel’s five-star rating, which was a crucial turning point for the business’s gaming operations.
After a preliminary opening of a few non-gambling amenities in November, Mohegan has consistently set its sights on the first quarter for the casino’s debut.
In addition to its hotel, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions), and entertainment offerings, this license marks Mohegan’s introduction into the Asian gaming market.
Because of its proximity to Incheon International Airport, INSPIRE Entertainment Resort has a 15,000-seat arena designed to host events other than gaming, like as K-Pop performances.
There are 1,275 rooms in the property spread among three hotel buildings.
Upon its opening, INSPIRE’s casino will only cater to foreign patrons.
