Wynn Macau Ltd announces a salary raise effective March 1.
On Wednesday, Wynn Macau Ltd became the fifth of Macau’s six casino operators to publicly declare a salary increase for eligible employees. The company specified a salary hike ranging between 2.5 percent and 6 percent, effective March 1, applicable to all eligible staff, excluding senior management, at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace. This increase will cover 99.8 percent of the company’s workforce, totaling 11,390 employees.
For Wynn Macau Ltd employees earning a monthly salary of MOP16,000 (US$1,986) or below, the salary boost will be MOP600, equivalent to an increase ranging from 3.8 percent to 6 percent. Those with a monthly salary exceeding MOP16,000 will receive an average increase of 2.5 percent, as stated by the company.
In addition to the salary adjustment, Wynn Macau Ltd had previously announced a discretionary bonus equivalent to one month’s salary, scheduled for payment on January 31. This bonus is applicable to all eligible full-time team members at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace.
