Light & Wonder appoints new Chief Financial Officer

Oliver Chow has been appointed Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Treasurer by Light & Wonder, Inc. Prior to taking on the role of interim CFO in August, Chow was Senior Vice President of Corporate Finance. After a thorough search, he will now assume full-time responsibility for the position.

Oliver Chow, a pioneer in the entertainment and gaming industries with over 15 years of experience, will join Light & Wonder in late 2022. Before that, he spent five years in high-level finance roles at Aristocrat, holding roles such as Chief Financial Officer for the Americas, EMEA, and Customer Experience. Prior to this, Chow had financial positions at JPMorgan Chase, Deluxe Entertainment Services, and Universal Pictures. He now holds the position of Treasurer on the board of directors for United Way of Southern Nevada.

Matt Wilson, CEO of Light & Wonder, expressed his happiness at the hire and commended Chow for his financial acumen and seamless transfer. Wilson highlighted Chow’s versatility in handling a variety of organizational problems.

In addition to expressing his thanks for the position, Chow said he was excited to work with the board and leadership of Light & Wonder to carry out the company’s goal, improve its financial standing, and assist with development, margin growth, and financial execution.
