China-Philippines Collaboration Results in Deportation of 160 Offshore Gaming Operators

China’s official media reported that this was a major development in the fight against fraud and kidnapping associated with offshore gaming.
The Chinese embassy in the Philippines restated its backing for the government of the Philippines and pledged to further cooperation in order to address the “root causes” of the sector.
In relation to Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) and their opposition to Chinese nationals operating such businesses overseas, they had previously communicated.
