MGS kicks off with 3,000 attendees on first day
With 3,000 attendees, the MGS Entertainment Show opened on November 14 at the Galaxy International Convention Center.
Approximately 35 exhibitors will occupy an area of approximately 3,700 square meters at the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA)-organized 2023 MGS.
At the inaugural ceremony, MGEMA President Jay Chun said that the occasion serves as a platform for dialogue and cooperation between regional stakeholders and global industry titans. Finding innovative ways to help Macau’s technology, entertainment, and tourism sectors cope with the COVID-19 pandemic is the main objective.
The first day of the MGS Summit included a panel discussion entitled “Pioneering a New Macau.” To discuss the main post-pandemic commercial concerns, senior executives from all six Macau concessionaires convened. VIP-focused marketing was replaced with a mass-market approach, and non-gaming ventures including MICE, entertainment, sports, art and culture, community, health, and marine tourism were among the others that were looked into.
