6 gaming firms included in Time’s World’s Best Companies list

In Time magazine’s annual ranking of the World’s Best Companies for 2023, six gambling firms have made the list, with MGM Resorts International claiming the top position.

MGM Resorts International ranked 218th on the list with a remarkable overall score of 85.01. Their growth rate was rated as’very high’, reflecting the company’s robust performance and strategic expansion efforts.

Caesars Entertainment followed closely behind, achieving the 277th position with a score of 83.97. Caesars’ growth rate was also deemed to be’very high’, highlighting the company’s strong presence and growth trajectory in the gaming industry.

The ‘Hospitality, Travel & Leisure’ category’s third-ranked gaming operator was Wynn Resorts. They were ranked 430 with a score of 81.82 and their ‘high’ growth rate was cited as evidence of their commitment to providing hospitality and entertainment of the highest caliber.

Next in line was Las Vegas Sands, which ranked 483rd with a score of 80.99 and a’moderate’ growth rate. Although their growth rate was not as high as that of others, they maintained a respectable ranking position.

Flutter Entertainment, an Irish gaming company, was ranked 597th with a score of 78.91 and a’very high’ growth rate. This demonstrates their significant presence in the international gaming market.

Penn National Gaming, which ranked 716th with a score of 75.84, was the company with the worst gaming-related reputation. Despite a’very high’ growth rate, their aggregate position declined.

The Time magazine ranking was dominated by technology corporations, with Microsoft at the top, followed by Apple, Alphabet, and Meta Platforms. The inclusion of six gaming firms in the list underscores the industry’s significance and its sustained growth and innovation.
