Among all businesses in India, the online gaming industry has been growing at an impressive rate. Deepti Chaturvedi, an analyst at CLSA, mentioned in a report that rising digital usage and increasing online population, affordable smartphones, and low data pricing are all driving India’s gaming industry forward.

Ronaldo Landers, CEO of All India Gaming Federation, said that smartphone gaming had been one of the most significant contributors to the business of real money and skill-based gaming in India. This industry’s GGR (Gross Gaming Revenue) is expected to reach $1 billion by 2025.
