Production Technical Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Report and work directly with Production Director
- Ensures that the video stream being viewed by the players has the feel of a quality gaming experience
- Validates live broadcast quality via checks on camera, encoder and lighting settings
- Serves as the point person for the quality of audio and video stream related queries and concerns
- Performs other functions as may be assigned from time to time
- Responsible for the troubleshooting and resolving technical issues of the studio set up of each gaming table and respond to related technical issues
- Work together with Production Director perform pre-production activities and POC’s (Proof Of Concept) for each game/product
- Coordinate with technical team and insure to produce good quality video live streaming
- DELIVERABLE/GOAL:
- To be able to submit design and layout for AV cable distribution Plan for all Studios
- To validate that all production cable is properly installed and managed
- To ensure Technical Settings of all production equipment are ready and appropriate for streaming
- To make sure audio -video output is always of good quality to meet client’s expectation and for better interaction with players 24/7
- To resolve all technical issues within SLA/OLA.
- To help improve studio services by maintaining and updating its facilities
- Update Studio Manual based on improvements and enhancement
- FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible in designing layout for AV cable distribution Plan for all Studios
- Supervise all production cable related installation
- Supervise all production technical equipment installation and configuration
- Responsible in ensuring Technical Settings of all production equipment are appropriate and ready for streaming
- Works closely with Gaming IT for all Production-IT-Studio for improvements and enhancements
- Works closely with Gaming IT for all Production-IT-Studio for concerns and issues
- Strictly monitor all ALL Studio
- Strictly monitor audio-video quality and make sure of its good quality output 24/7
- Responsible in resolving issues within SLA/OLA
- Performs a “Quick Action” on every situation before it becomes an Audio/Video Issue
- Responsible in giving DETAILED instructions to AV Support for troubleshooting and equipment replacement for emergency cases
- Performs other task like fabricating cable materials and other equipment for troubleshooting and enhancement
- Performs POC for new studio setup.
- Performs POC for other studio and product enhancement
- Performs POC for new equipment
- Utilize expertise in production in other production needs
- Sharing and offering creative ideas and solutions
- ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Coordinate and work well with Studio Manager, Production Director, Gaming IT
- Manager and Support for all Studio concerns
- Coordinate and work well with Production Director and Gaming IT before giving instructions to AV Support and Administrative Staff
- Coordinate and work closely with Audio/Video Support (AVSupport)
- Coordinate and work well with Administrative Staff
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and cleaning
- Responsible for all audio equipment inventory
- Responsible in creating Audio-Video Production Manual for NEW Studios
- Responsible in updating Production Manual based on all improvements and enhancement
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Creatives, Mass Communication or equivalent.
- 2-4 years working experience
- Must be able to decide quick in strenuous situations
- With excellent problem-solving skills
- Must have good command of English
- Able to communicate clearly in both written and verbal English.
- Must have an excellent eye for quality and aesthetics
