MGS to return next week with 5k expected participants
The MGS Entertainment Show & Summit, a renowned trade exhibition and conference for the casino industry, will recommence its activities in Macau the following week.
It is anticipated that more than 5,000 industry professionals and visitors will attend the event. The event is scheduled to occur on November 14th and 15th at the Galaxy International Convention Center, an establishment situated within the Galaxy Macau integrated resort. Kevin Kelley, chief operating officer of Galaxy Entertainment Group, is designated to deliver the keynote address.
Jay Chun, chairperson of the Macau Gaming Equipment Manufacturers Association (MGEMA), announced that thirty-five vendors of gaming machines and equipment comprised the majority of the attendees. He emphasized that the new gaming law is driving the transformation of the gambling industry in Macau. The six gaming concessionaires have presently redirected their attention from gaming initiatives to global tourism markets.
Chun asserts that the MGS will align with this paradigm shift through its prioritization of industry progress and competitiveness. The objectives of this occasion are to facilitate the international expansion of the Asian gaming hub and to advocate for the sustainable and sound growth of the gaming sector in Macau.
