Mohegan Inspire’s designers celebrate its grand opening

On March 5, Steelman Partners’ Inspire Korea, the biggest privately financed development project in Korea, will officially debut. Steelman Partners was hired as the resort’s design architect in 2018.

The resort’s primary source of income is its casino, although it also has a convention center, gardens, water attractions, and other facilities. Additional facilities are scheduled to open around the middle of 2024.

Architect Paul Steelman said that building Mohegan’s first Asian resort, Inspire, was a pleasure. Their team concentrated on combining premium facilities with genuine cultural elements, drawing inspiration from the architectural philosophy of Mohegan Sun, a leading player in integrated entertainment resort construction.

He added that they wanted to provide visitors with a true Asian experience while enhancing their stay with state-of-the-art technology. For Mohegan, this project was a major turning point, demonstrating their dedication to creativity and cultural sensitivity in resort development.

The resort’s conceptual architecture was handled by Steelman Partners in Las Vegas, and their staff was in charge of the interior design of many important areas, such as Aurora and Splash Bay. The project was developed collaboratively. Additionally, another section of the interiors was enhanced by the experience of New Yorker Jeffrey Beers in interior design. Numerous Korean architects, designers, and engineers improved the project.
