MBS gets ready for Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” in S’pore with light show, pop-up store

With Taylor Swift’s highly anticipated Eras Tour show at the National Stadium coming up on March 2, Marina Bay Sands is getting ready with a number of specially designed events for the greatest entertainment event of the year.

Fans can experience Taylor Swift’s musical “eras” at The Eras Tour Trail, which has seven zones spread across The Shoppes and Sands Expo & Convention Centre, from February 28 to March 13. With a focus on key eras like Swift’s Lover, 1989, and Midnights albums, each zone will provide a fresh viewpoint on the global pop star’s musical career.

The Marina Bay Sands’ facade will be lit in pastel hues from the Eras Tour in observance of the milestone. Furthermore, from February 28 to March 7 at 8 and 9 p.m., the Event Plaza will host a unique The Eras Tour Light & Water Show every day. On March 1 and 2, there will be additional performances at 10 p.m.

Four of Swift’s hit songs, “You Belong With Me,” “Cruel Summer,” “Style,” and “Shake It Off,” will be played throughout the 15-minute performance, which will reimagine Marina Bay Sands’ Spectra – A Light & Water event. Featuring bright visual projections, synchronized lava effects, dancing fountain jets, and flashing lasers, the event seeks to engage viewers with upbeat rhythms and choreography influenced by the Eras Tour.

Tickets are available for the free all-weather concert on a first-come, first-served basis. The Eras Tour Light & Water Show pre-registration website will begin at noon on February 27.

To get genuine concert merchandise including T-shirts, sweatshirts, water bottles, tote bags, and wristbands, fans may also visit the Eras Tour Retail Pop-up located in Sands Expo & Convention Centre Hall C.

The pop-up will be open from February 29 to March 9 in varying operation hours.

The Eras Tour Retail Pop-up website is the place to register in advance, starting at 6 p.m. on February 27, even though admission is free. A parent or legal guardian must accompany youngsters under the age of twelve, and each registration is only valid for one person.
