Crown Sydney reveal redesigned casino floor despite economic challenges, adjusted opening hours

February 2, 2024 World Casino & HotelIndustry Updates

A refurbished casino floor has been shown by Crown Sydney, which attributes the change to “guest feedback and evolving market and tourism conditions.”

This comes following a gaming room’s August closure due to financial difficulties and its November operating hours adjustment.

With floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour, the new casino has 74 gaming tables, 35 electronic table games, an inventive outdoor gaming area, a private suite for a limited number of guests, and an elegant restaurant. Additional table games will be available to qualified visitors in the VIP Sky Salons on level 28.

By creating policies to lessen the harm caused by gaming and to recognize and stop financial crime, Crown demonstrated its commitment to security. “The introduction of our new casino experience, combined with our substantial investment in minimizing gambling harm and preventing financial crimes, establishes a new benchmark in Australia for secure gaming entertainment,” said Mark McWhinnie, CEO of Crown Sydney.

McWhinnie added, “We’ve created a world-class integrated resort with acclaimed restaurants, an outstanding hotel, Australia’s first Forbes five-star spa, and now a newly refreshed and redesigned casino.”

He went on to say that they are pleased to provide a distinctive and secure gaming experience in New South Wales, and the casino’s most recent additions are a reflection of feedback from their expanding customer base. Crown has invested heavily in changing their business, emphasizing guest experiences, and implementing measures to stop financial crime and lessen the harm caused by gaming.
