IMG Arena announces strategic partnership with CricViz

To secure exclusive worldwide data and streaming privileges for Cricket West Indies (CWI) matches, IMG Arena, a subsidiary of Endeavor, and CricViz have formed a strategic alliance.

IMG Arena will be responsible for the collection of data from a range of cricket matches, including those showcasing the West Indies Men’s and Women’s national teams, the West Indies Under-19 team, the West Indies Academy, and various domestic leagues including the Men’s and Women’s CG United Super50 Cup and the West Indies Championship.

By making available to a broad audience IMG Arena’s exhaustive data from more than 450 matches, more than 460 international operators will be informed. This global dissemination will enhance the overall viewing experience by providing supporters with access to complete live score and match details.

Dominic Warne, Director of Commercial, Marketing & Communications at Cricket West Indies, stated that this partnership will enable the organization to provide supporters with enhanced live match statistics and live scoring information in the Windiescricket.com Live Match Center for a greater number of games. He conveyed his enthusiasm regarding the prospect of hosting a greater number of home international and regional matches in the West Indies compared to previous years. This would enable devoted supporters to track their preferred players and teams.

CricViz, a provider of cricket analytics and data, will play a pivotal role in the partnership by acquiring exclusive data rights and contributing their sophisticated Match Center for the purpose of data analysis. This involves the implementation of prediction algorithms, the collection of data from the ground, the creation of visual presentations, and the provision of real-time game insights.

A collaboration has been established between IMG Arena and CricViz with the following objectives: to elevate the spectator experience, to unite cricket aficionados around the world, and to bolster the continuous development and prominence of cricket as a prominent sporting occasion.
