Andaz Macau unveils world’s largest Andaz Hotel

With the formal inauguration of Andaz Macau, located within the Galaxy Macau complex, Galaxy Entertainment Group has reached an important milestone. This latest addition to the Andaz brand portfolio establishes it as the largest Andaz hotel in the world, with over 700 accommodations and suites designed for leisure and business travelers. The opening of the hotel is a crucial part of Galaxy Macau’s Phase 3 expansion, which now comprises eight distinct hospitality brands.

Andaz Macau has a dedicated check-in lounge designed to accommodate large MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) groups, a signature lounge, an inviting bar and restaurant, a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness center, and a 19-meter heated indoor pool.

The hotel’s interior design seamlessly combines elements of traditional Macau with a contemporary flourish, offering visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in the city’s rich history. Through a series of steel sculptures, “Juxtapose,” an art installation by Malaysian artist Tang Mun Kian, pays reverence to Macau’s historic architecture, iconic landmarks, and local insights. The hotel also displays a variety of antiquities, such as embellished couture garments named “Golden Phoenix” and “Enchanted Mountains.”

“Macau Steps,” a unique staircase, functions as a captivating narrative device, presenting over 100 videos that graphically recount the city’s past and present, thereby providing visitors with a multisensory experience.

The dining options at the Andaz Macau are equally remarkable, with the Andaz Kitchen serving all-day Chinese, Portuguese, and Western cuisines in a setting inspired by Macau’s emblematic shophouses. In addition, the Andaz Studio, which can accommodate up to eighty visitors, provides interactive activities such as master chef culinary classes.

For MICE visitors, the Andaz Lounge offers a relaxed atmosphere for networking and unwinding, while the Andaz Bar features inventive concoctions constructed by a skilled mixologist and craft beer from a local Macau brewery.

As part of the Hyatt brand, Andaz Macau joins the prestigious family of 28 Andaz hotels worldwide. This historic inauguration reinforces Galaxy Entertainment Group’s commitment to delivering extraordinary hospitality experiences within its Galaxy Macau integrated resort complex.
