Trial of former junket boss Levo Chan trial set to start on 5 December 2022
Disgraced junket boss Levo Chan has a trial date set for 5 December 2022.
It was formerly reported that Macau’s Public Prosecutions Office (MP) has formally charged the former CEO of leading junket Tak Chun Group and former Chairman of Macau Legend Development, Levo Chan.
He faces a possible maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
Chan was arrested by Macau’s Judiciary Police (PJ) in January and has been detained in Coloane Prison ever since, accused of being involved in criminal organization, illegal gambling including online gambling and “betting under the table” (known as “賭枱底” in Chinese), and money laundering.
