More popular Asian casino games

September 13, 2022 World iGaming & Gambling

As we have mentioned in our previous post, the casino experience in Asia is very different from what you will be able to experience in other parts of the world. Here, you will be able to enjoy yourself with more than just the traditional card games and slot machines. Games with historical and cultural significance are also big in this colossal continent and most of them are easy to play. You don’t need well-calculated strategies or play strong mind games because all you need are a bit of luck and fun.

If you are looking for new games to play in an Asian casino, here are more games you can expect.

Baccarat

Even though Baccarat originated in Italy, it is very much popular among Asian gamblers. Baccarat is distinctive among these other games in that it caters largely to big rollers. This makes this type of online gambling very risky, but also tremendously rewarding for those with the right strategy and emotional control. When compared to the house edge of other games, baccarat’s 1.06-1.24 percent range is rather low. However, this is not meant to indicate that the outcome will be positive. You should never risk more money than you can afford to lose in a game of chance.

Andar Bahar

India is credited with creating many well-known casino games, and Andar Bahar has long been a fixture in Indian society. It is a card game that anybody can play with a deck of cards and a bit of luck or chance. There needs to be a player who lays the wager and the person who hands the cards together. The game starts when the dealer spreads all 52 cards of the typical deck. The initial card is dealt face-up, and the cards after it are arranged into two piles. The two betting options are the piles Andar, which means within, and Bahar, which means outside. Simply predicting where the twin card of the first card will fall is all that is required of the player.

Fan Tan

Fan tan is mostly played in East Asia, particularly among Chinese communities. On a table, there is a square with the numbers 1, 2, 3, and 4 indicated on its sides. He then dumps small coins, beans, buttons, or other small objects onto the table. The dealer places the cup over a chosen number of buttons to start the game. The bets on the table are then yours to pick from. The dealer then counts the number of buttons he has in the cup using the wand. The result is decided by the last set of buttons, which is always made up of one, two, three, or four buttons. These buttons are counted off in groups of four.

Bau Cua Ca Cop

The dice game named Bau Cua Ca Cop or Squash-Crab-Fish-Tiger in English originated from Vietnam. Instead of one to six pips, the six sides of the dice have representations of a fish, a prawn, a crab, a rooster, a calabash gourd, and a stag. The rules of the game are pretty simple. Basically, players place bets on which photos will appear on a board containing six images. If one die matches a bet, the bettor receives the same amount as their wager. If two dice equal the wager, the bettor earns twice as much money. If three dice outcomes match the wager, the bettor wins three times their stake.
