Pinoy MLBB coach Yeb Miranda departs FNATIC Onic Indonesia after leading the team to four MPL titles and four international tournament appearances.
Pinoy Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) coach Paul Denver “Yeb” Miranda will be saying goodbye to the team. He successfully steered FNATIC Onic Indonesia to four straight MLBB Professional League (MPL) titles and four international tournament appearances. FNATIC Onic Indonesia announced this in a video released on November 4, 2024.
“Hari ini, kita harus mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada seorang pemimpin, mentor, dan ahli strategi luar biasa, Coach Yeb. (Today, we have to say goodbye to an extraordinary leader, mentor, and strategist, Coach Yeb.),” FNATIC Onic Indonesia said.
Many Indonesian netizens sent their well wishes as FNATIC Onic announced Yeb’s departure–a testament of his unparalleled legacy in Indonesian MLBB.
After a dismal end to their MPL Philippines campaign, Coach Yeb and underling Pinoy Kairi “Kairi” Rayosdelsol were among the first wave of imports who took their talents overseas as acquiring Filipino talent became the trend due to the country’s dominance in MLBB.
Coach Denver “Yeb” Miranda joined ONIC Indonesia in 2023 and rapidly became a pivotal influence on the team’s success.
Initially known for his tactical acumen, Yeb quickly implemented structured play styles and mental discipline, which significantly improved the team’s cohesion and adaptability.
Working closely with ONIC’s star player, Kairi, Yeb transformed the team into a regional powerhouse. Together, they won two MPL Indonesia championships in 2023, showcasing ONIC’s ability to dominate with strategic gameplay.
Under Yeb’s guidance, ONIC Indonesia ended the Philippines’ four-year dominance in Southeast Asian Mobile Legends by winning the 2023 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup (MSC) against Blacklist International, marking Indonesia’s first major regional victory since 2019.
Coach Yeb brought notable improvements to FNATIC ONIC Indonesia’s performance through strategic adjustments and a disciplined focus on fundamentals–a staple in the Filipino playstyle.
His leadership style fostered not only skill development but also team resilience, making ONIC a formidable force in both local and international tournaments.
