Kings vs Mavericks: NBA Matchup and Betting Prediction

Betting preview: The Kings, riding a 3-game win streak, take on the Mavericks, who are struggling without their frontcourt depth. Can Sacramento capitalize on Dallas’ rebounding woes?

The Sacramento Kings are heading to downtown Dallas for a showdown with both teams missing their key frontcourt stars - No Anthony Davis for Dallas and no Domatas Sabonis for Sacramento.

The Kings have finally picked up some momentum winning three straight games. Although, in their last match-up, they lost their center Domatas Sabonis early in the game. They were still able to outduel the Houston Rockets with back-up center Jonas Valanciunas filling the void scoring 15 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. The star-duo of Derozan and Lavine contributed 21 and 20 points respectively.

The Mavericks on the other hand are coming off a tough home loss to the Bucks. Outside of Kyrie Irving’s consistent effort, the rest of the Mavericks have yet to find their groove. Klay Thompson has picked it up averaging 19 points per game in their last three outings, but their front court is absolutely depleted and as a result they were outrebounded 52-33 in their last game.

With the Kings riding their 3 game winning streak, seemingly finding their rhythm at the perfect time, I love the Kings in tomorrow’s match-up.

I feel like the loss of the Mavericks’ frontcourt will be too difficult to overcome whereas for the Kings, Jonas can somewhat produce atleast half of Domas’ output.
