Macau Lures Thai Tourists with “Experience Macau” Roadshow
In an effort to market Macau to Thai travelers, the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) is making a three-day roadshow trip to Bangkok this week.
According to MGTO, Thailand is rated seventh among the primary sources of visitors to Macau, indicating a “great potential” market.
Resuming on June 14 and 16, “Experience Macau” returns to Bangkok’s Central World mall, building on the prosperous post-pandemic tourism campaign of the previous year.
The theme, “Experience Macau, Ma Ma Macau,” extends a warm greeting to Thai tourists in Macau.
All six Macau casino operators, Air Macau, and travel companies with distinctive Macau trip packages will be present at the roadshow.
Through this agreement, the number of visitors from Thailand—which is now served by 45 weekly flights on three airlines—to Macau—is expected to expand. These airlines are MACA, Thai AirAsia, and Lion Air.
