“The intention was to start and build upon the holiday market and then carry on from there,” Roel Constantino, Nustar Resort and Casino general manager for hotels, said, as cited by the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The P30 billion resort is promoted by Robinsons Land Corp, a group controlled by privately-owned Gokongwei Group. By early 2027, a third hotel, via Robinsons’ “Grand Summit”, will expand the room capacity to 985.

NUSTAR Resort and Casino is also eyeing to expand its private gaming operations in the new complex, from eight gaming rooms for junket operators.
There are also 1,000 gaming machines and 150 tables, spread over 21,000 square meters of gaming space.
Trevor Hammond, the senior vice president for gaming operations, announced that both mass and junket operations have equally contributed to half of the gross gaming revenues since the property opened, with a significant portion of its clientele coming from Korea and the Philippines.
Hammond also noted that there are three additional floors available for casino expansion, as the group targets Singapore, Malaysia, and Vietnam, among other Southeast Asian countries, as potential source markets.
