Reading’s Head of Operations charged by FA for alleged betting breach
Mark Bowen, the Head of Football Operations of Reading FC, has been accused of violating betting regulations by the Football Association (FA).
According to reports, between April 2022 and January 2024, Bowen placed bets on 95 football games—none of which featured Reading.
Bowen has been invited to respond by June 7th by the FA. Huw Lake of Swansea and Lucas Paqueta of West Ham were also accused of bookmaking hundreds of times over a five-year period earlier this month.
