AGT’s Chief Technology Officer Departs Amid Transition
David Bollesen, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Ainsworth Game Technology Limited (AGT), has announced his resignation, which will take effect immediately.
According to the corporation, Bollesen’s stint was marked by notable contributions and competence, and the resignation was described as a mutual agreement.
Bollesen’s leadership in implementing transitional product strategies, which set AGT up for long-term success across all operating zones, was acknowledged by CEO Harald Neumann. Neumann announced that internal staff will take on interim responsibilities until a search for a new CTO, based in Las Vegas, was launched.
AGT guarantees stakeholders that product development will proceed without hiccups, with current management supervising the planned product roadmap in spite of Bollesen’s departure.
AGT is going through a transitional phase as a result of the resignation as it looks for new leadership to help it achieve its technological goals and promote innovation in the gaming technology industry.
For the fiscal year 2023, AGT reported a net loss after tax of AU$9.0 million ($5.8 million), a significant drop from the net profit after tax of AU$10.2 million ($6.8 million) the year before.
