The arrested organizers, who range in age from 22 to 45, have a past of drug charges and other criminal activity, according to district police officer Assistant Commissioner M. Kumarasan.
They were operating without a license, thus the Open Gaming House Act of 1953 has now placed them under detention for investigation.
On top of that, the Immigration Department received detained and turned over foreign persons, eighteen of whom were foreign nationals, for overstaying.
Like roulette, “Bola Golek” involves wagering on numbers or symbols as a ball is rolled or spun over the board to determine the winner.
