Cambodia takes down 21 online casino gambling sites, lottery social media pages

Twenty-one social media accounts that promote online casino games and lottery numbers have been targeted by the General Secretariat of Cambodia’s Commission for the Management of Commercial Gambling for violating both the Law on the Management of Commercial Gambling and the Law on Gambling Suppression.

The following social media sites are prohibited, according to the General Secretariat’s recognition and list:

As a result, capable authorities have been keeping a close eye on, looking into, and prosecuting operators, players, and other persons involved in illegal gambling activities.

Everyone is urged to exercise caution and abstain from any unlawful gambling-related activities by the General Secretariat. They also urge authorities to step up monitoring and take legal action against individuals and operators involved in these kinds of activities.
