Alea appoints new CEO

Jordi Sendra has been chosen CEO of Alea, a live data-driven casino game aggregator, succeeding Alex Tomic, who has decided to step down.

After leading the company since its founding in 2012, Tomic will assume a non-executive role to focus on strategic initiatives in emerging nations including Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Sendra brings a wealth of experience to his present role having spent three years as the company’s COO. He spent more than two years as a business consultant for Synergic Partners before joining Alea. He also served as managing director of Fapp Sistemas de Aspiración for five years.

Ramon Glieneke will take over as COO when Sendra assumes the role of CEO. Using his knowledge of API aggregation in the travel sector, Glieneke will oversee the day-to-day operations of the business.

Sendra expressed his happiness at leading Alea and highlighted how the business has developed into a desirable industry aggregator platform. He emphasized how important it was to hire bright individuals with a variety of backgrounds, including Glieneke, whose expertise in API aggregation would be invaluable to the company’s success.

Glieneke, who is happy with his new role as well, sees it as an opportunity to use his aggregation experience at one of the iGaming companies that is expanding the quickest. He is thrilled to work with Sendra and encourage Alea’s growth and success in the future.
