Venetian Macao, Parisian Macao accredited to host healthcare meetings

The Venetian Macao and the Parisian Macao, both owned and operated by Sands China Ltd. in Cotai, are certified by Meeting Professionals International (MPI) to host events connected to healthcare. This honor is referred to by Sands China as a “first” in Macau.

The meeting, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry organization MPI verifies venues for the healthcare business. This accreditation is known as “Healthcare Meeting Compliance Certificate-Verified Venues” (HMCC-VV). Eleven distinct standards make up MPI’s accreditation, which guarantees that meeting locations follow industry best practices for healthcare and life science events.

These prerequisites include, among other things, adherence to international medical meeting rules and regulations, data protection plans, reporting techniques, and prior experience with medical meetings.

With 163 events organized since 2016, Sands Resorts Macao has a fantastic history of hosting important medical meetings for clients from across the world, according to Stephanie Tanpure, vice president of sales at Sands China.

Among the six holders of casino concessions in the Macau market is Sands China. In 2022, MPI granted HMCC-VV certification to Marina Bay Sands, a casino resort in Singapore operated by Las Vegas Sands Corp, the parent company of Sands China.
