Macau discloses information on personnel involved in economic diversification
The Macau government disseminated information on Friday on those responsible for overseeing significant economic diversification programs to facilitate and accelerate the plan’s execution.
The Macau government has prepared an extensive strategy aimed at achieving economic diversification. According to AGB inspections, eight key segments and a total of 215 subtasks need to be finished.
These key areas include huge health, contemporary finance, high technology, sports, tourism, culture, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). These duties are primarily the responsibility of the Secretaries of Cultural Affairs, Economics, and Finance. Macau’s development strategy has changed recently, placing more emphasis on economic diversification.
Since all six of Macau’s casino operators actively invest in non-gaming sectors, they now shoulder a significant portion of the cost of economic diversification.
