WRCM marks sixth year of operations with gift-giving outreach program
In celebration of its sixth year in Sta. Cruz, WINFORD Resort and Casino Manila (WRCM) recently unveiled the 2023 version of “Christmasaya mula sa Winford,” an annual outreach initiative that provides gifts to residents of Sta. Cruz, Manila, and neighboring barangays.
During the event, Jeffrey Evora, President and Chief Operating Officer of WRCM, expressed his appreciation to the neighborhood by stating, “Winford Manila is now in its sixth year of operations here in Sta. Cruz.”
He went on to say that they are grateful to everyone in their community who has supported them from the start. He explained that the custom of exchanging gifts and sharing meals is a way to express gratitude and symbolize the community’s long-lasting bond.
The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. and WRCM launched the campaign in 2017, and it involves identifying and selecting awardees in collaboration with barangay captains. The close-knit bond formed with these community leaders is a major factor in the annual program’s success and significant influence.
