FanDuel enters partnership with Basketball Champions League
FanDuel is now the Official Broadcasting Partner of the Basketball Champions League (BCL) Americas. This partnership will see FanDuel broadcast and stream every BCL Americas game, for a total of 52 games accessible on FanDuel TV, the streaming service that serves as a widely accessible linear cable network.
As of 2019, the FIBA Americas League was superseded by the BCL Americas tournament, which has 12 teams from seven nations: Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Nicaragua, Mexico, Venezuela, and Brazil. Out of the three Brazilian teams, Franca is the current Intercontinental and BCL Americas champion.
“BCL Americas will be able to get access to new audiences and opportunities because FanDuel is a strong brand in the US for sports, fantasy sports, and online sportsbooks,” said Carlos Alves, FIBA Americas’ executive director.
At the moment, three of the nine games in each group of the BCL Americas campaign are being played. There will be a six-day quarterfinal starting on March 4 and including the top two teams from every group. Exact dates for the Final Four announcement will be made public in April 2024.
FIBA has extended its partnership with Genius Sports until 2035 in addition to the FanDuel agreement.
