INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon to have soft opening on November 30
The Mohegan INSPIRE Entertainment Resort in Incheon, South Korea, is scheduled to have a soft opening on November 30.
This information was released by Mohegan Gaming. Three hotel structures totaling 1,275 rooms will be unveiled at the grand opening celebration. The resort boasts a state-of-the-art digital entertainment street called Aurora, a glass-domed indoor water park called Splash Bay that is initially accessible to hotel guests, Korea’s first multi-purpose arena, extensive MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions) facilities, including the largest ballroom in the nation.
The next casino and retail complexes, designed specifically for international visitors, are scheduled to open in early 2024, with more amenities to follow in the first half of the year. With the goal of creating jobs and boosting tourism in the Incheon area, Mohegan INSPIRE hopes to become one of Northeast Asia’s most popular entertainment destinations, attracting travelers from all around the globe.
The initiative has received support from the Korean government, cities, local communities, and the project team, all of whom have emphasized how significant it is for Mohegan Gaming as a milestone partnership.
James Gessner Jr., chairman of the Mohegan Tribe and the Mohegan Management Board, thanked everyone for their cooperation and hoped for a long-term partnership in South Korea.
The first K-Pop event at INSPIRE Arena is scheduled for December 2, 2023, and the soft opening will provide a range of promotional packages that include hotel stays in addition to food and beverage services.
