MGS 2023 to discuss growth of remote gaming in PH

November 14, 2023 Philippines Casino & HotelIndustry Updates

The last session of the first day of the MGS Summit will focus on the rapidly growing remote gaming industry in the Philippines.

The evolving landscape of remote gambling will be examined in this session, with a focus on the licenses granted to online establishments in the Philippines by the Philippine Amusement and gambling Corporation (PAGCOR). With the use of internet-connected devices, these licenses enable players in the Philippines to place bets remotely.

During this Q&A, Ben Blaschke, Managing Editor of IAG, will converse with Suat Sirin, President of Tecnet Asia Inc. The presentation will provide important insights into the current state of PIGO (Philippine Inland Gaming Operators) betting and will highlight the innovative design developed by Tecnet Asia Inc. for a number of integrated resorts located in Manila.

As the program examines both the present and potential future scenarios of remote gaming in the Philippines, participants will get a deeper understanding of this quickly growing segment of the Philippine casino industry.

The MGS Summit covered a wide range of topics, including the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in gaming, market developments throughout Asia, opportunities and challenges for concessionaires, among others. The summit started with a keynote address by Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer-Macau at Galaxy Entertainment Group.

This extensive conference offers a crucial forum for industry executives, specialists, and interested parties to discuss essential developments, trends, and issues impacting the gaming and entertainment sector in the Asia-Pacific region.
